There is no shortage of luxurious hotels in Singapore however 2018 was an uninteresting year as far as the luxury hotels are concerned. For instance, the Capitol Kempinski Hotel Singapore finally began operating after a gap of many years. The Six Senses Duxton is probably the only other hotel that is worth noting this year. Today, the Marina View white site is now open to applicants as part of the GLS and it is scheduled to offer the hotel with 540 rooms.

The white site is planned to be an area for a mixed-use project and will be situated in The Downtown Core - just walking distance to the upcoming Shenton Way station on the MRT. I'll be releasing an update on the new hotels that will open in 2019 but we'll probably not be seeing any new developments on Marina View.

It is easy to travel around rest of Singapore by Senton Way MRT Station, Marina Coastal Expressway, Ayer Rajah Expressway, East Coast Park Way and Central Expressway. Other shopping centers are located nearby, including Marina Square, Chinatown Point, People's Park Comple, Raffles City Shopping Centre, Esplanade Mall.
